In the picture you can see that I have taken both the brake and gear lever apart. The next picture shows why that the gear pedal seemed a little loose and was lacking any grease. There seemed to be no grease on the pin. As I took off the gear lever and removed the inner pin. Greased this up and tightened it back. The gear lever felt smooth and was not rocking as much as before.
I also looked at the brake lever side and this was the same. The inner pin had no grease. The pin was not loose but felt much better knowing that I had carried out a thorough service, making sure that any items that the factory recommend is carried out.
